The top panel has three holes, the bottom panel as well, and the middle panel is missing the middle hole, where instead a badge with the Vermont United Gas and Electric Company logo is attached. There are old fuses in the middle right and top middle holes.
Next to the fuses is a large switch labeled "Southeast Tunnel." It is currently switched [off or on].
> x ornate metallic box (@ Tiny Windowless Office)

When you were younger you use to keep your toys in there but no longer.
Dreary Lands (2005)
> x metal box (@ In a Wierd Oblong Room)
It's a metal box, perhaps of blued steel. It is unadorned save for a very small keyhole and hinges in the back.
> x wooden box (@ In a Wierd Oblong Room)
This box is only slightly smaller than the one you found it in, though it is much different in appearance. First off, it is made of wood -- fine maple, you would say. Whereas the metal box is unadorned, this box is quite decorative, having an old cryptic look because of engravings and designs carved into it, although there seems no obvious way to open it.
Three carvings on the top of the box stand out: an intracate square, a fancy broadsword, and an amulet shaped like an hourglass. These seem carved deep into the wood; they look as though they could be depressed like buttons.
> x brown box (@ In a Wierd Oblong Room)
It is by far the smallest box you've encountered yet -- just a four-by-two-inch brown rectangle. It seems rather un-boxlike; it has neither an obvious way of being opened nor any engravings or designs of any type or form at all. Furthermore, and stranger still, it doesn't look textured in any way that would suggest a solid, tangible material. In fact, it looks to be soft and plyable.
Strange hot rods, strange room, strange boxes -- everything about your life seems strange today. You just hate these days when you wake up in a tiny cramped (and wildly-colored) chamber. No good for mental health.
> x intricate box (@ In the Foyer of a Museum)
It's the box which was a button on the puzzle-box. And you'll bet its also the third of the sacred objects! Oh, the thoughts of your struggle now past weary you; how inviting the door to the south looks!

The Empty Chamber (2019)
> x safe deposit box (@ The Empty Chamber)
A hardy metal safe that at one time must have belonged to a bank. It was about the size of a suitcase, upturned. There was a four-character combination lock securing its contents. Celia would need to turn lock to the correct number, to open it.

There's a picture of a man in a kilt tossing the haggis or whatever it is they do, and the words "FREE GIFT INSIDE!" emblazoned across the bottom. The carton is suspiciously light. [if closed] The carton of porridge oats is closed. [else if contains pendant] There is a plastic pendant at the bottom of the carton, but it is otherwise empty. > x fusebox (@ In the cellar)
There is a volt meter inside, and two switches marked A and B.
A Good Breakfast (1997)
> x box of cereal (@ Kitchen)
The print on the box is faded, but it probably contains cornflakes -- no matter what it was to begin with, cereal invariably becomes cornflakes four weeks after opening. Since you can't remember when you actually bought it, there's a good chance that it's already undergone transformation. The only other thing of note is the writing in the corner, too bright to fade: FREE!!! SUPER LUCKY MAGNET!!!! As your eyes start watering, you wonder why fluorescent colouring of this severity hasn't yet been subject to a UN ban.
