Living Room is a TADS 2 interactive fiction game and is © 2000 by Doug Jones and Peter Berman. It was an entry in the Speed-IF 11 event and the fourth part in its six-part story.
You play as someone trying to get the dead body from the attic past your dad who's sleeping in his chair in the living room. (Part 4 in a 6-part series.)
This solution is by David Welbourn.
This is part four of a six-part series; start with Fun and Games.
> x dad. x afghan. x body.
> take afghan. (+1) put afghan on body. (+1)
> x door. open door. ne.
> x skateboard. take it. x screwdriver. take it. sw.
> drop skateboard. unscrew door. (+1) x door.
> put door on skateboard. (+1)
> put body on door. (+1)
This series continues with Fido and The Dead Body.
You will fail if you wake Dad:
You will win if you correctly assemble the "creepy contraption": afghan on body on door on skateboard.
In a total of several turns, you have achieved a score of your-score points out of a possible 5.
This walkthrough is provided free of charge since I wrote this walkthrough prior to January 2015 when I began my Patreon account, and also because the work it's based on has less than fifteen locations (so I wouldn't have charged for it anyway). I've since reformatted this walkthrough to use my currently preferred style. I hope you enjoy it!
I'm still creating new walkthroughs! Larger ones too! Please visit my Patreon account if you're interested in helping me create more interactive fiction walkthroughs. I appreciate all the help I can get! Thanks again.
