The copper pig weather vane is mounted on a cast iron pole held in place by a wooden stand. The reddish-brown metal that makes up the pig's body has a slightly greenish tint to it. A spiral tail springs from the back of the body. Mounted under the pig is a wrought iron arrow that can spin around the fixed compass rose below it.
