  Inside the snowglobe is a microscopic world that is exactly like this one in every respect, but tinier in exact proportion. Except your own worth as a human being, which is tinier out of ALL proportion. And it's already pretty tiny in this world, the original world.

  So that's kind of incredible.

  A glass ball with a miniature Eiffel tower in it. If you shake it, it starts to snow. A very valuable memento indeed.

  Lara borrowed it from you a month ago. You have no idea why. She never bothered to return it, apparently. She's bad at that–well, actually, you both are, but she's worse. Of course, it might be that she didn't return it because she still using it; although that doesn't make sense! How do you use a snowglobe?

  The snow globe holds a miniature model of the Motel California with little, plastic flakes of fake snow. Oddly enough, no one can remember the last time it snowed at the motel, whether the snow was fake or not.
