It looks like it is approximately 3.142 metres long, so you're guessing it's a python.

It depicts a snake (specifically, an Eastern Ratsnake, according to the caption) in the act of raiding a finches nest. Having strangled a mother finch, its jaws open wide as it loops back around to bite.

The snake is no longer gargantuan. Its tail sticks out one side of the corridor and its head the other, no longer filling the corridor.
