Dressed in all her regal clothing, Queen Elizabeth I looks like a pasty-faced, pink-wigged, middle-aged woman whose lower part is encased in an ornate and bejewelled tent. Despite her somewhat ridiculous appearance, there is no doubt this woman has power given the way everyone around her behaves.
