The chandelier is a beautifully constructed piece of woodwork. The multi-layered chandelier contains hundreds of candles and is attached to the ceiling by a sturdy hemp rope.
You really don't want to get too close to the chandelier with the Red Dragon underneath it. You get the feeling that she wouldn't need much room to do some serious damage.

Mortlake Manor (2012)

It's a very beautiful example of Renaissance French artistry. You also notice a few small cracks around the base of the chandelier.
It's looking in rather bad shape, what with most of its beautiful glass pieces strewn around the entire room.

The chandelier has several tiers of icicle-like glass drops and prisms, and many small candles. It is quite dazzling to look at.

This chandelier is a little low as chandeliers go, most likely because it gets frequently lit for the purpose of making it easier to read a book on the chair at night. I guess even powerful wizards sometimes resort to non-magical means of illumination.
