> x camel (@ In the Oriental Garden)
A pottery model in sancai glaze, about two and a half feet high, of a two-humped camel, its neck arched back and its mouth open in a deep throated roar. Tang dynasty, decides the Phil, knowledgeably, and it would have been looted from some tomb. Attached to the camel by a string is a paper label.
