Dreary Lands (2005)

Perhaps the most interesting carving of the three, the amulet has been meticulously crafted into the solid maple. A long chain of iron links is connected to the top of the hourglass and is wrapped around the middle section where a grain of sand would fall through were it a real glass, though it seems as if the skilled carver was trying to depict only clear glass.

It is the same amulet as the one depicted on the puzzle-box. From this real examination you can tell that its features of engrafted in a pure silver, with delicate grains of sand depicted with gold by some astounding feat of metalurgy.
