You play as a magic user who wants to visit the 1846 Better Living Through Wizardry convention in Boston. First you have to get there, then you need to find the transubstantiation panel, and maybe pick up a couple spells along the way.
This solution is by David Welbourn, and is based on Release 1 of the game.
Caution: The game will end if you put the ticket in this broom.
> x broom. w. w.

Roof of the Boston Convention Center
Oddly, scrolls aren't takeable in this game.
> x bowl. take it.

> x door. x gap. malyon fettucini.
The pasta snakes unlock the door and you descend to...

Queue (five locations)
In normal play, you'd use the fuzz, crud, and bowl to help you map out this maze. But since you're reading a walkthrough, let's assume you've already mapped it and just go through this.
> w. x scroll. read scroll.(You learn SPUDDO.)
> n. e. n.
Transubstantiation Panel Hall
A man hands you a mango.
> x mango. x chalkboard. spuddo mango.
You follow the wizard speaker to...

Endings
The game is over is the ending message regardless of ending.

In the second ending, you win a wizard hat by solving the problems in the Panel Halls. This is a winning ending.
Inventory
bowl of fettucini. It's on the roof of the Boston Convention Center.
fuzz and crud. They're in the lobby. They're objects that'll help you map the Queue maze.
lamp (providing light). It's in the lobby. You'll need it to navigate the Queue maze, which is dark.
mango. You get it when you first enter the Transubstatiation Panel Hall. Cast spuddo on it there. (The game says it turns into a potato, but it's still a mango in your inventory.)
Honorable mention:
a diamond-encrusted wizard hat. You win this at game's end.
Spells
The following spells are in this game:
malyon something. ("animate"). Learn it by reading the scroll on the roof of the Boston Convention Center. Malyon the bowl of fettucini to get from the roof to the lobby. Malyon the lobsters in the Magic in Education Panel Hall.
spuddo something. ("transmute fruit into tubers"). Learn it by reading the scroll in the Queue. Spuddo the mango when in the Transubstantiation Panel Hall.
