This page is very in depth and awesome. I came. I saw. I love it. I linked it.
I think you should have pics of Faeries, and Faes...thanks!!! -Becca
This is the most wonderful fae site I have ever seen! To think that you have R. Kirk's work here is amazing! I must always be placed on a waiting list for an inter-library loan when I wish to read it, and heaven forbid that I should ever like to own a copy as they are quite scarce! I spend hours here, much to my family's dismay lol! Please come visit Cottingley Glen when you have time ( my wee site) Thanks for a lovely visit! Rene` Burdette
Lovely page, lots of information for research that I don't always find. I am an artist and I like themes well researched. "Goblin Market" is also a favorite. But I am surprised you do not have William Allingham's eerier fairie poem "The Maids of Elfen Mere". DMN
I think this page is so dope!~ I love your images, they're beautiful! That's all I wanted to say.
You have very nice pictures, some of the best i''ve seen. Today at the mall here in town I saw a very nice painting by a women ( her name is lost in my head ) I would of liked to buy it but it was $140 without a frame. sucks
What is the difference between a goblin and a hopbgoblin? Any help would be received with thanks.
This is a very rescourcful page. Please keep up the good work.

Absolutely excellent pages. There is so much information and so many stories it will take lots and lots of return trips to read them all. Very nicely done.
Thank you so very much for your hard work. I really enjoyed the site and plan on returning I have always been interested in faeries since I was a little girl. Your site has just fired up the interest again at 20. thank you Nina
I enjoyed your page and saved it as a favorite. Good job!
I love your fathers book, Faeries!! I originaly saw it at the library, and when it was time to me to return it, I didn't want to, so a good friend of mine got it for me for my birthday. It is a fantastic book.

I must tell you this page brought tears ot my eye's . I will be back to dwelve here once again :) Thank You for a wonderful journey ... Lucy Kelley
Ahhhh, the fae do exist indeed. They exist in the hearts and minds of all who wish to believe. To not believe in a thing is the death of a thing. I for one intend to keep the dream alive. And I see you do as well, my friend. May the little people grant you a boon for your support. *G*
Hello, My middle name is Mab and I have been looking for some interesting facts about Queen Mab. I think this site is very good, although I wish there was more info on Queen Mab. If you could recommend any other good sources, literary or otherwise I would appreciate it. Thank you, Siobhan Caitlin Mab Mackay
Thankyou so much for the info on the fey folk.I have been interested in this for so long...blessings of Aine be upon you. Ravynwolfe
This is a GREAT site! I can't imagine how much time and effort you have put into this and I really appreciate your doing it!
This a question, rather than a comment. I rented a movie for my daughter called Fairy Tale: A True Story. It told the story of 2 young girls who, during the 1940's photographed Faeries on several occassions. Authorities in England, including Sir Arthur Connan-Doyle, and Kodak believed the negatives to be authentic. Connan-Doyle wrote a book about it. Do you know anything about this incident or if it happened at all?
"I think it is amazing about all these stories, poems, and pictures. I guesse if they are real I would like to be their freind. you know what I think? I beleive that they are real. I think they are still in the world. I just wish I could see them. they seem so gentle in the word in the poems and stories. They also could be fake and this whole website could be but I doubt it."
I greatly enjoy your pages on faeries. I would love to learn as mutch as I can about them and their history. I apprecaite the time you have spent on this page. If you have time could you suggest some more places where I can learn more. Thank you for your time. Kerkiy
Thank you. This is without doubt one of the most well constructed, pleasurable, and beautiful pages about faeries I will ever be lucky enough to visit. You have included so many different aspects; you have done something very rare and valuable. I thank you. By the way, an outstanding author in the field of faery is Charles de Lint. I strongly urge you to try some of his writings, especially "A Tempest in Her Eyes," a story about Puck. (found in The Ivory and the Horn)
This is a very wonderful and beautiful page. It is very informative, and I am adding a link to it on my site. Keep up the good work!

For some reason, I caused you to have many postings of my 1 guestbook entry .... sorry! Sometimes, guestbooks mess up.
I really like how you have info. on Fairy books at this site. If you would like to trade links with Pan's Grove, please visit our website at: http;//pages.prodigy.com/goatcheese/pansgrov.htm and then e-mail me. Here's something fairy interesting: lately I've been playing Dungeons and Dragons, and one character is an elf addicted to fairy wine; the only problem is that my character is the only one around her currently who makes it .... an Oracle Satyr, homosexual Priest raised by centaurs and befriended by fairies. Does anyone else have a better character? I think not!

Hello, My name is Rhyan. I have building a fantasy based webpage and I would love to include some of your writing. I have a section set up just for poetry (though it is under construction at the moment) and I am looking for authors. I invite you to look around at your leisure. There will be a few changes made in the next day or so... Thanks Rhyan
Thank you so much for the incredible info about the Daoine Sidhe. I've done much research in writing a screenplay soon to be produced but your info added new insights that I'll be incorporating into the script. We should be filming in Ireland next spring - look for "A Killing Tale" (working title) next year! Thanks!
This is a great sight! I love it!
Greetings from East Caney (Hopkins County)! Extremely well organized site! Great links. Many of your personal bookmarks are now on my list of favorites. Does anyone know this poem`s title, author, complete poem? My retired children's librarian friend (in her late 50`s) remembers only this much from her childhood. She`d like to know the whole poem. We are jack-o-lanterns, goblins We come from the witches` caverns. Just hear our broom go swish, swish, swish. We glare when you come near us For we know you always fear us.
My name is Willow and I am a new user of the internet. I have always been iterested in fairies and myths and I want to thank you for your easy access and very informative homepage. Also, I was wondering if you could give me the addresses of other interesting fairy sights on the internet. My E-mail address is www.jamiecox.com
I find your page very well done, and am impressed with how you have a lot of folklore on faeries!! Again, you have a nice page.
Hi I love your page because it is really pretty and I was wondering how old you where and where you come from. I come from Western Australia and my namme is Jenele Lyon.

As you can see, I'm not as computer litterate as I'd like to be, but I am so glad that you exist (How many yous there might be.) I'd like to know more about fairy rings. I learned of them through Tori (I KNOW she's of fairy origin, whether she be half mortal or not, there are too many signs indicating so!) I'm sorry for the previous errors, feel free to delete them. Once again, thank you for your existence. Blessed Be!
You have a great page! Keep upthe great work!!!!
Hi, I suddenly couldn't remember if I'd commented before or not. You have a great site anyway. Full of useful information. Becka
Very informative but I was looking for the fairy chant- something like- '...let this golden ray of light touch the ground...' or something like that- so if you could just email me wit the answer- thanx mandy
Returning to your page is akin to sipping anew from Mimir's well. Great stuff!
I'm hoping someone can help me.I'm looking for a book I used to read when I was a kid. I can't remember the title. It was a collection of stories. One of the stories was about a little green goblin who had been naughty, I think he burnt himself on a poker and his dad came to get him, something like that. Another one of the stories was about large stones that went for a walk/dance?? on midsummer nights eve, underneath them was treasure and two people went to steel it and one ended up being crushed when the stones came back because he refused to leave without the treasure. Does anyone remember this book and have any idea on how I can get hold of it. Help me please!!

This is not so much a comment as a request. I'm trying to find a poem I said as a child (about 5 years old, so it would have to be a simple poem.) I believe it starts out "There are fairies in my garden..." Someone suggested Rose Fyleman "There are fairies at the bottom of my garden..." That is possible - it was a long time ago. The only reference I can find to Fyleman is on your sight and the poem is not at all what I am looking for. Any ideas???
Visitors to these fascinating pages might be interested in my children's novels, Same Place But Different and A Completely Different Place (published by Groundwood in Canada, and Simon and Schuster in the US). They are about a young boy living in Winnipeg, Manitoba who has unsettling encounters with many of the beings described by Briggs in her Encycopedia of Fairies.
I just wanted to tell you that I appreciate all the time and effort you've put into this page. I found it very interesting. I watched the movie Fairy Tale for the first time tonight and decided to do a little research on fairy- lore. I found your sight very informative:o)
i am searching for information about the connection between elves, faeries and the inhabitants of the "enochian" realms discovered by john dee...also how ethnobotanical intoxicants may have contributed to the faerie encounter in traditions thanks
Life, It's just a fantasy. Continue to believe and soon we all will have wings.
This site is exactly what I was looking for when I did a keyword search on yahoo -Scotland superstitions-. And this was the first site displayed! I reenact the 42 Royal Highland Regiment, the Black Watch, of the French and Indian War. All of us do research into some aspect of the time period, I've picked Scottish superstions from the eighteenth century. At the library, the most obvious book to get was Campbell's book of Scottish superstitions. You have no idea how thrilled I am to find it on the internet, along with a dictionary! I have definitely bookmarked your home page as I'm sure I will need to refer to it fsequently as I pusue an understanding of the f
I just saw the movie Fairytale: A true story - Can yu tell me moreabout this or where to go to get info.
Terrific page you have here. It was HotBot's first hit for "pooka legend". I noticed that you don't yet have an online copy of "The Kildare Pooka" from Yeats' _Fairy_and_Folk_Tales_of_the_Irish_Peasantry_. I typed in this story for my own homepage and you're welcome to copy it if you'd like. It'll save you a bit of typing: http://www.bigfoot.com./~pooka1/kildare_pooka.html
Very interesting, that the Irish fairies are appeased by a saucer of milk. Devout Hindus offer milk to the god Ganesh, and some even claim that the saucer is emptied by super- natural means (i.e., not the cat). Indo-European survival? Sure, why not?
I was doing research on fairies for my sisters portfolio, when I came across this page. It is a beautiful website. And I'm sure that some of the information that is on this site will be handy for Tina's portfolio. I only have one request though, (It is your site so you don't have to pay attention to this!) You put more pictures of fairies in. BEAUTIFUL SITE AND BRILLIANT WORK!!!!
I have been working on a unit on faeries for my students at school and was most inspired by your website. You helped in puting this unit together. We did a multimedia presentation on faeries for a technology conference and are now preparing for a presentation at our school. Thank you so much for all the inspiration. It has been a great way to teach literature and social studies to students with special needs.
i am trying to write a research paper comparing stories about fairies around the world. Does anyone know of any good resources on fairies from different cultures - Africa, Asia, Native American, South American, etc. I am afraid that fairies only live in Europe!! Please help if you can - you can e-mail me with any info you have! Thanx!!

I enjoyed very much reading all the stories. Thanks for putting them on the net.
I would very much like to know more about faerie doctresses. If you could just please find some info on them I would be very greatful. It would be really helpful if you could give their history, cures for what the faeries do to mortals, and things like that.
This is a great page!!
An excellent and very interesting site! Keep up the good work!
At last! I have been wanting to read the Secret Commonwealth for a long time. If anyone knows of a place where i can get a facsimile copy of of the book I would be very grateful. Keith

GREAT PAGE. I love mythology and all concerned with it... the "quick" version of 'Tam Lin' could use a little work. Otherwise, I enjoyed myself tremendously. Thank You.
good work ! best wishes, jorge Canary Islands, Spain.
I was reading this web site an found many of the things contained in it very interesting. I still cant believe that people have doubts that faires dont exsist. All I have to say is that if they didn't exsist there wouldn't be any knowledge of them. Thank you, Rebecca
Wow, I love your page. It's really hard to find a lot of info on fairy's on the net. Could you recommend a few page's for me. I would really be happy if you did. Thanks, Tillie

This is so cool. I love it! Bye!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Beautiful page...I bookmarked so I can keep exploring it. I especially appreciated the poetry. Do you have a copy of the faerie poem about "how to see a faerie"? I know it begins..."Sit where the cat sits."
This is the best site I've discovered yet. But then I'm biased towards faerie! No, it's reaaly good and I'm using it as a reference for my writing - I write, or re-write the old stories and sing them. I'm looking for references of Long Lankin but you don't have any yet. If I come up with some would you like me to send it on to you? Many thanks for your great site Anny
I love this page!! You really have a great and original page. Thank you so much!!!

Nice page -- FYI in the Charlotte Mew poem "The Changeling" (http://faeryland.tamu-commerce.edu/~earendil/faerie/poems/Changeling. html) there is a typo around line 17: "roudn" where it should read "round". Cheers, Lawrence Warner
