Guys are leaning against the walls, but they're not mentioned unless you get the losing ending.
Your father is mentioned is in the epilogue.

Endings

You have died if you take the beer without putting a rock on the bar first.
You have finished the game if you take the beer after putting the rock on the bar first.

Inventory

a small rock. It's in the Bar (building). Put it on the bar (counter).
