(untitled: speed.gam) is a TADS 2 interactive fiction game and is © 1999 by Lenny Pitts. It was an entry in the Speed-IF 4 event. This game is notable for being the first Speed-IF entry to use graphics; in this case, black-and-white pictures of the Eiffel Tower and onions. The graphics are in external files tower.jpg and onion.jpg and must be in the same directory as the story file to be displayed properly.

In this tiny game, you play as a soldier in Paris in September 1944 just after the city was liberated from Nazi Germany. You have an important appointment to keep: a clandestine meeting at the Eiffel Tower with a former lover.

This solution is by David Welbourn.

Thank You to my Patreon supporters

This walkthrough is provided free of charge since I wrote this walkthrough prior to January 2015 when I began my Patreon account, and also because the work it's based on has less than fifteen locations (so I wouldn't have charged for it anyway). I've since reformatted this walkthrough to use my currently preferred style. I hope you enjoy it!

I'm still creating new walkthroughs! Larger ones too! Please visit my Patreon account if you're interested in helping me create more interactive fiction walkthroughs. I appreciate all the help I can get! Thanks again.
