In this minimalistic one-room game set in a kitchen, you play as anyone. On the wooden table are Brad The Bread and Tommy The Toaster. Let's see what you do.

Walkthrough

Fairly Well Sized Kitchen

> x table. x Brad. x Tommy.

> x slot. x lever. x dial. (0 to 5)

> take Brad. put Brad in slot.

> set dial to 3. push lever. z. z. z.

> x Brad. eat Brad.

Extras

Characters

There aren't really any characters besides the player-character. Brad The Bread and Tommy The Toaster aren't animate or anthropomorphic in any way except for their names.

Endings

You have died

if you eat Brad The Bread when he's burnt (aka Peter Cole the Piece of Coal from 5 or more toasting turns in the toaster).

You have won

if you eat Brad The Bread when he's nicely toasted. (From 1 to 4 toasting turns in the toaster.)

Inventory

Brad The Bread. He's on the table. Put Brad in Tommy, then toast Brad (see Tommy). Now eat Brad. Note that you'll be unwilling to eat Brad if he's not toasted at all.
Tommy The Toaster. He's on the table, but you don't need to pick him up. Put Brad in Tommy, turn the dial to a suitable setting (from 1 to 4), push the lever, then wait until Brad is ejected. CAUTION: You may toast Brad multiple times in Tommy, but this increases the risk of making Brad deadly to eat.
