In this tiny one-room game, everything is a "thing". No other nouns are used. You just want to get inside the implemented rustic wooden structural sheltering thing.

Note that the end text can change based on whether or not you were wearing the manual insulating things when you picked up the unlocking thing. You definitely want to be wearing the insulating things to avoid a deadly infection.
