Key & Compass presents:
Stink or Swim
by Renee Choba

Stink or Swim is a Z-machine 8 interactive fiction game written with Inform 7 and is © 2009 by Renee Choba. This game was inspired by Speed-IF minicomps, although it was released independently of any specific Speed-IF event. One might describe the imagined Speed-IF it was for as "The Olympic medalist, skunk, and public bathing one."

You play as Joanie Bennet, "former proud Olympian, current children's swimming instructor." A skunk has gatecrashed your Minnow & Mommy class and is now swimming in the pool. It's up to you to deal with the animal.

This solution is by David Welbourn, and is based on Release 1 of the game.

This game uses footnotes. Some footnotes are tied to random messages, though, so it's possible that my walkthough will ask you to look at a footnote you haven't seen yet.
