Somewhere in the desert
> x statue. x head. x sand.
> take head. (It frowns.)
> put head on statue.
A sudden sandstorm blinds you, and now you're elsewhere.
In the Dynast's Hall
The man thanks you, then walks toward you, aging and turning to stone. Then you're back in the desert.
Somewhere in the desert
> x statue. (It's smiling.)
By the way, it's still possible to take the head, but why would you?
> climb statue.
On the statue's shoulders
> x city. d.
Somewhere in the desert
> touch head. touch statue. push statue.
> south. (or any other compass direction)

This is the response to ABOUT:
STATUE was written for the 1999 Summer IF Art Show. It is my completed work, and was written to gain experience and recognition. This work was inspired by the poem Ozymandias, but is not strictly based on it, as many details are different. I had the idea of doing a statue before I encountered the poem. This work is intended to be an artwork, so feel free to explore and experience.
