In this small one-room game, you play as a turtle who had the misfortune of being turned onto its back by a lumbering boy. If you try to listen, you sense the boy, a dog, and a snake are nearby. How can you get right side up again?
This solution is by David Welbourn, and is based on Release 1 of the game.

Extras
Characters
An oafish boy tipped you upside-down in the first place, but he's still nearby and will respond to your hooting or clucking. Unfortunately, the boy wants to prod you with a stick.
A large german shepherd dog is nearby and may be summoned if you grunt three times. Unfortunately, the dog wants to gnaw on your shell.
A slithering snake is nearby and may be summoned if you hiss three times, but only if the dog is safely locked up. Unfortunately, the snake is poisonous and wants a turtle dinner.
Endings
You have achieved the POISONED ending.
if you eat the grass and don't vomit it within nine turns.
You have achieved the SHELL SHOCKED ending.
if the dog slams you against a rock and you die.
You have achieved the MURDERED ending.
if the boy impales you with his stick.
You've achieved the WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE SNAKES ending.
if the snake attacks you.
You have achieved the VICTORIOUS ending!
if you get back onto your feet, using the stick.
Inventory
a stick. The boy has it.
CAUTION: If the boy prods you too often with the stick, he'll eventually impale you with it. You can avoid this by eating grass, then rolling (yourself) to make yourself vomit. The boy, amused by your barfing, stops hitting you and runs off to tell someone.
If you summon the boy while the snake is near you, the boy drops the stick and takes the snake away.
Take the stick then push the ground to right yourself and win the game.
Honorable mention:
your shell. It's part of you.
You can go IN, pulling your limbs into your shell and back OUT again. When fully inside your shell, the snake can't bite you.
some vomit. If you eat some grass then roll, you produce some vomit.
If you vomit while the boy is prodding you, the boy runs off.
If you eat grass and don't vomit within nine turns, you'll die of whatever poison was sprayed onto the grass.
