The Pub

Extras

Characters

• The barman, Mike, has owned this pub for over twenty years. He's friendly.
• A customer at the bar is looking a bit vacant. He's a fiddler.
• A DJ is playing folk tunes in the bar's mixing booth.
• A couple of bar staff are trying, not entirely successfully, to carry a giant cake through the back door.
• An accordionist is in the car park. He's sharply dressed.
• A rogue Morrisman is blocking the exit from the car park. He's a terrifying sight.
• A troupe of Morris dancers have invaded the village square outside the pub's front door, so leaving the pub that way is unthinkable.

Inventory

• a blindfold. The customer puts it on the bar when you first examine him.
• In the pub toilets, wear both the blindfold and earplugs before opening the window.
• some earplugs. Find it by examining the mixing booth.
• In the pub toilets, wear both the blindfold and earplugs before opening the window.
• a handkerchief. A Morrisman leaves it on the pub's windowsill when you first examine the window.
• In the car park, give the handkerchief to the accordionist. He gives it to the rogue Morrisman, who takes it and leaves.
• a towel. It's in the pub toilets.
• When on the window ledge, tie the towel to the wire. Now you can slide down the wire.
