Lunar Base 1 is a Z-machine interactive fiction game written with Inform 7 and is © 2012 by Michael Wayne Phipps Jr. It was an entry in IF Comp 2012 where it took 14th place.
It's 2080. You're playing as Captain Stan Rogers. You and another astronaut, Dr. John Klose, have traveled to the moon to be its first long-term inhabitants inside Lunar Base 1. But after several unexpected events and discoveries, you both won't be staying as long as you planned.
This solution is by David Welbourn, and is based on Release 1 of the game.
SPOILERS AHEAD. Reading a walkthrough prematurely can sometimes diminish one's enjoyment of an interactive fiction game. Please make an honest effort to play the game before reading this walkthrough.

John isn't here. General Bradley tells you that both you and John took a major dose of radiation. He asks you not to contact John or his family, and also tells you that John intentionally damaged the antenna.
General Bradley further tells you that you saw a recording from gods from before human history. Then he brandishes a pistol. You'll be in rehab for weeks. Then hs tells you how a NASA inspector named Thomas Ronald Baron died with his family, a clear threat not to talk or else.
Finally, he congratulates you on your grand discovery and for being the first man on the moon. The first?
