In Search of Velocitas fictus is a Z-machine interactive fiction story written with Inform 7 and is © 2007 by Jacqueline A. Lott. It was a participant in the Speed-IF Introcomp event.

In this short story, you play as a young American woman trying to find out what happened to the North American Velocitas fictus. They haven't been seen at all in 2007. Your search has brought you here to the Cour Napoleon at the Louvre, to rendezvous with Professeur LeFou.

CAUTION: This story contains the beginnings of an unwanted sexual assault.

This solution is by David Welbourn, and is based on Release 2 of the story.

Amusing

These are just some amusing things you can try:

Try taking the potted plant while waiting for "LeFou" to arrive.

Try killing the tourists milling around the museum.

Try searching "LeFou" before you hit him with anything.

Try kissing or touching "LeFou" - both before and after you've successfully attacked him, and try it with the flashlight off or on.
