I Have No Verbs, and I Must is a TADS 3 interactive fiction game and is © 2025 by Dissolved. It was an entry in Ectocomp 2025's Le Grand Guignol (English) division, placement to be determined.
In this short surreal horror game, you, whoever you are, it's really difficult to tell, are facing a horrible slavering beast in the ruins of your living room. It's racing towards you, but you have no verbs, and you must— you must what?
This solution is by David Welbourn, and is based on Version 1 of the game.

Something Horrible
In this game, you have no inventory and no time to do anything but one command that progresses the story. Not only is every scenery object unimportant, so are the monsters about to kill you.
> x beast. (no time for that!)
*** What's eating you? ***
> undo
> x me. (This command seems to be the only one that's not part of the main flow of the story.)
*** Following in Narcissus' footsteps, are you? ***
> undo
> scream
A Bubbling Pit
> z.
*** Drowning your sorrow? ***
> undo
> scream
