A Hobbit Trek is a Quest interactive fiction game and is © 2013 by Crispin.
In this game set in Middle Earth, you play as Daisy Tunnelly, a hobbit. A giant flood swept you away from your home in Bree to the branches of a tree in an unfamiliar land. You stayed in the tree until the waters receeded, but now it's time to start the long walk back to Bree. You hope someone can give you directions.

Belinda Oswyn helps you escape; in return, you're to deliver a note to Gomlin Drudukr in the mines on the other side of the forest.

The Ent hears the approaching Entwife and moves towards her, revealing a trail to the southeast.

Characters
Daisy Tunnelly is a hobbit and the player-character.
A troll in its hoard is too busy eating mutton to notice you.
A black knight arrests you for trespassing on a royal bridge.
A guard in the dungeon doesn't mind being bribed.
Belinda Oswyn is a woman crying in the castle kitchen.
An Entwife in a wooded area is lonely. She wants to find an Ent.
A bee in a meadow is huge and able to talk. It needs flowers or food.
Gomlin Drudukr is a tall man exiled into the mines. He's also Belinda's sweetheart.
Some men are drinking, talking, and laughing in The Red Stag.
Tom Brockhouse is a fellow hobbit from Buckland. You meet him in the tavern.
An Ent is in a clearing. He's also lonely.
Your Tunnelly and Heathertoes relations welcome you when you return to Bree.
Mentioned:
Mister Gamgee told stories to the young hobbits when you were little.
Princess Haifalutin rules the castle and some of the lands around it.
Other guards are swarming in the castle's council chambers.
Endings
I found two losing endings and one winning ending:
If you go west from the castle's hall into the council chambers, you're recaptured and you spent the rest of your life locked up.
If you go west from the road intersection to the west road, the black knight recaptures you.
If you go southeast from the Ent's clearing to Bree, you win.
Inventory
In the order you may acquire them:

Once you have the napkin , examine your sore foot. You'll automatically use the napkin as a bandage.
Mushrooms . They're at The North bank.
Branches . They're at The Bank.
At South bank, use the branches and rope on the bridge to fix it.
Seedcake . It's in A Hut.
Napkin . It's in A Hut.
Once you have the napkin, examine your sore foot . You'll automatically use the napkin as a bandage.
Firework . It's at The South flood plain.
In the clearing, use the flint on the firework to summon an Entwife.
Slingshot . It's at North flood plain.
Rocks . They're at Cliff bank.
Loaded slingshot . Create it by using the rocks on the slingshot .
In the Cave (of the troll), use the loaded slingshot on the troll. He drops gold , a tinderbox , and rope .
Gold . It's in the Cave (of the troll) after you use the loaded slingshot on the troll.
In the dungeon, give the gold to the guard. He'll unlock the door so you can leave.
Tinderbox . It's in the Cave (of the troll) after you use the loaded slingshot on the troll.
In the clearing, give the tinderbox to the Ent to get the flint from inside it.
Rope . It's in the Cave (of the troll) after you use the loaded slingshot on the troll.
At South bank, use the branches and rope on the bridge to fix it.
Bread . It's in the Dungeon.
Water bowl . It's in the Dungeon.
In the meadow (of the bee tree), use the bowl on the honey in order to take the honey.
Candle stub . It's in the Guard room.
Note . In the Kitchen, speak to the woman there to get it.
The woman, Belinda Oswyn, helps you escape the castle. In return, you're to deliver the note to Gomlin Drudukr in the mines.
In the Cave (of Gomlin), after giving the whole candle to Gomlin, give the note to him. Speak to him; he'll give you directions and a knife .
Honey . Find it in a meadow by examining the bee tree.
Use the bowl on the honey to take it.
In another meadow, give the honey to a Bee to get beeswax in return.
Beeswax . In a second meadow, give honey to the Bee to get beeswax in exchange.
Whole candle . Create it by using the beeswax on the candle stub .
In the Cave (of Gomlin), give the candle to Gomlin.
Knife . In the Cave, Gomlin gives it to you after you give him the whole candle and note , then speak to him.
In the Marsh, use the knife on the reed to craft a flute .
Flute . Create it in the Marsh by using the knife on the reed.
In the Tavern, play the flute to summon Tom Brockhouse. You know to play the flute there if you speak to the men.
Flint . In the clearing, give the tinderbox to the Ent. He will open the tinderbox for you and give you its flint.
Still in the clearing, use the flint on the firework to summon an Entwife.
