Hide a pachyderm! is a Z-machine interactive fiction game written with Inform 7 and is © 2014 by Simon Deimel.

In this simple and very short one-room joke game, you have six turns to hide your pet elephant before your angry landlord forces his way into your tenement. Good luck!

This solution is by David Welbourn, and is based on Release 10 of the game.

Walkthrough

Someone is knocking on your apartment door, and you need to hide your pet elephant. If you don't open the door within six turns, your landlord opens it regardless.

There's no time to examine anything. You must act. The hi-fi must be on to both explain the previous noises heard, and to cover up any noises the elephant itself makes.

> turn on hi-fi. open fridge.

> take pet. put pet in fridge.

> close fridge. open door.
