Hallway is a Glulx interactive fiction game written with Inform 6 and is © 2003 by Ricardo Dague. It was an entry in the Speed-IF 19 event. Technically, this game is untitled and only called "Hallway" after its only location.

In this incomplete barely-begun game, you play as Gallie Atty, formerly the deadliest member of the Black Squad and currently on the run from the General Council. Your goal is to get into the Safe Room, get the Big Jewel, then get out of the compound with it and your life. (Unfortunately, you can't do anything but look at yourself and the goons in the hallway.)

This solution is by David Welbourn, and is based on Release 1 of the game.




There's nothing to do in this "game" at all. Merely a room with three objects. That's it. No winning or losing.

I think the author wanted to learn how to compile to the then-new Glulx format, and it took too long to figure that out so there was barely any time left to write the actual game.
