Frustration was originally written in AGT and is copyright 1990 by Jim MacBrayne. This solution is by David Welbourn, and is based on the TADS port of game, specifically version 1.02 released in 1996.

Rough Notes

The game understands CULTIVATE GARDEN, but a bare CULTIVATE command throws up a TADS-1026 error.

Apple: found at Almost A Shrubbery

Bottle: found at Wine Emporium

Glowing key: found at Finebone's Office. Doesn't unlock door at Morning Room; it does unlock the First Floor Landing door.

Hammer: found on table at Locksmith's Workshop.

Horseshoe: found at Scorched Room.

Piece of wire: found by "look under table" at Locksmith's Workshop.

Wobbly pumpkin: found at Broom Cupboard (in Mansion's 2nd floor)

Skylight in Cramped Attic: opens without problem, but too narrow to take anything with you. Whatever you drop in the attic tumbles down the stairs. It's too narrow to carry the potion back with you.

Potion: found at Top of Turret. It's labelled "W. T. W." Drinking the potion has an effect that only lasts four turns. DROP POTION: "Whoops - over the edge of the turret."; it lands at At Door of Mansion. Drink it at Winifred's Retreat, then TAKE WAND.

Magic wand: in cauldron at Winifred's Retreat. You'll need the potion from Top of Turret first. It's described as a "short-cut wand". The game doesn't understand "point wand at object". WAVE WAND at Eastern End of Path: you teleport to Centre Corridor At Door.

Flagpole: at Top of Turret is too greasy to climb.

X PUDDLE at High-vaulted Chamber: it's by the Acme Small Puddle Company?!

Tight Pipe: can't carry anything here; drop all including the lit lamp at Narrowing Pipe.

Ingot: at In Pipe (south of Tight Pipe). Very heavy.

Iron key: at Confined Chamber. Also a circular opening high above.
