In this game of revenge, you play as a fired office worker. It's after hours. A box of your belongings is on your desk, ready to go, but the printouts you made detailing your horrible boss's many misdeeds are missing! Find those printouts before you leave this miserable building for the last time.
This solution is by David Welbourn, and is based on Release 1 of the game.
SPOILERS AHEAD. Reading a walkthrough prematurely can sometimes diminish one's enjoyment of an interactive fiction game. Please make an honest effort to play the game before reading this walkthrough.

Extras
Characters
This is a solo adventure, but other characters are mentioned:
Your former boss is just the absolute worst. You have nothing good to say about him.
Your former coworkers are idiots and bullies.
The cleaning staff turned into zombies because of the toxic chemicals in the cleaning products.
Tina Weymouth is the subject of your poster.
In the epilogue, the police search your apartment if you leave with the hole punch that doesn't belong to you. If you damaged the building with the forklift or fire and didn't take the videotape, the police get more involved.

Endings
Deadly End
if you stay in the burning building.
The End
if you leave the building.
The details of the leave-the-building ending vary based on what you accomplished or failed to accomplish:
Items are listed in the order acquired in this walkthrough.
a cardboard box containing your belongings. It's on the desk in your former office.
Take the box, examine it, then examine your belongings. You learn you have no printouts, and the belongings are revealed to be a hole punch, a lighter, and a flyer.
a hole punch. It's in the box after you examine your belongings.
In the stairwell, punch the punch cards so they all have as many holes as your card.
Drop the hole punch. The punch doesn't belong to you and if you take it home, you're accused of theft and police search your home.
a lighter. It's in the box after you examine your belongings.
In the stairwell, light the lighter for light, then go down (the ramp) to the basement. Unfortunately, the ramp is slippery, and you fall most of the way and drop the lighter.
In the dark basement, TAKE LIGHTER to regain it. Light it again to see the basement, its forklift, and the forklift's switch. Turn on the switch to turn on the forklift's headlights.
At the top of the dark elevator shaft, light the lighter to see the elevator door to the south.
After pouring flammable blue liquid in all the upstairs rooms (see canister), light the liquid (with the lighter), then leave the building as soon as possible.
a flyer. It's in the box after you examine your belongings.
Your character doesn't need this flyer. It's just another example of how bad your boss is.
In July 2025, during a farm worker shortage in the USA, a fake flyer went around asking nurses to volunteer to pick blueberries in their spare time as a clinical ladder opportunity. Outrage ensued. [I wanted to put a link here about the event but I was unable to find a definitive webpage. It was mostly in TikTok and Instagram posts.]
no printouts. It's in your inventory after you examine your belongings.
Examine this non-item to remind yourself what you're looking for.
When you get the actual printouts, this absence disappears.
your poster. Find it by examining the junk in the carpet level.
Take the poster and examine it. It's yours. It was stolen off your office wall some time ago.
a tacky blob. It's in the microwave oven in the kitchenette; examine the cabinets or listen to find the oven.
In the carpet level, put the blob on the velvet to rub all the blob off the key that's inside it.
a key. It's inside the tacky blob; see blob on removing the key from it.
In the carpet level, examine the boss doll's belt to discover a keyhole. Put the key into the keyhole then turn the key to open a secret passage south. You won't get the key back.
your stack of printouts. They're in a shredder in the secret chamber; examine the chair to find the shredder, then examine the shredder to see the printouts.
Take the printouts and keep them. They detail your boss's misdeeds.
a videotape. Acquire it by opening the VCR in the secret chamber; examine the monitors to find the VCR.
Keep the tape. You don't want your boss to have evidence that you did anything on the top level.
a canister of highly flammable liquid. Examine the cleaning products in the cleaning pantry to find it.
Examine the canister; it has a warning sign and a tap.
Read the warning sign; the canister's liquid is highly flammable.
After acquiring the poster, printouts, and videotape, open the tap and walk around so all the upper floor locations have blue liquid in them.
Drop the canister. In the central top floor room, light the liquid (with the lighter), then quickly go down the ramp and out the exit.
