Key & Compass presents:
Eclipse
by Gianluca Girelli

Eclipse is a Z-machine interactive fiction game written with Inform 6 (with PunyInform) and is © 2026 by Gianluca Girelli. This is an English translation and Inform port of the game "Morgan Tyler: Eclypse" (1986) written in The Quill and Illustrator, in Italian, by Bonaventura Di Bello. This version of the game is part of the The BDB Project. It is also the first game in the Morgan Tyler series.

In this sci-fi adventure, you play as Morgan Tyler, a 25-year-old citizen of the planet Thalos. Fhenor Darkscepter, once Thalos's charismatic governor, is now its tyrant. In an desperate attempt to get help from Earth, you use an eclipse to mask your ship's escape. But tragically, you crashland on an unknown hostile planet, and your ship is in pieces. Are you and Thalos now doomed?

This solution is by David Welbourn, and is based on Release 1 of the game.

SPOILERS AHEAD. Reading a walkthrough prematurely can sometimes diminish one's enjoyment of an interactive fiction game. Please make an honest effort to play the game before reading this walkthrough.

This is the response to ABOUT:

This game is an adaptation of the Italian adventure 'Morgan Tyler: Eclypse' by Bonaventura Di Bello.
