Dude, Where's My Scapula? is a Glulx interactive fiction game written with Inform 7 and is © 2016 by Zachary Hodgens. It was entered in the First Quadrennial Ryan Veeder Exposition for Good Interactive Fiction where it took 7th place.

You play as Alex, an undead skeleton, who wakes up after a party in the graveyard to discover his entire shoulder bone is missing. You better find it and put it back on if you want to use your right arm ever again.

This solution is by David Welbourn, and is based on Release 1 of the game.

Frankie is resting in his open grave. I assume he's another skeleton like you.
The dog at The Caretaker's Place is chewing on something.
Zombies are clustered around the platform of the Gallows.
The group of goth teens at The Bonfire are playing hacky sack. One of them is named Bruce.
The man who was nailed up in the Underground coffin is probably a vampire.

Inventory

a right arm. You're carrying it. Just keep it.
record. It's in Underground. Put it into the record player in the Clearing; the zombies at the Gallows will go there to dance to the music.
a hammer. It's at the Gallows after you put the record into the record player. Use it to open the coffin in Underground. (The man inside the coffin will take the hammer from you.)
a cape. It's dropped in Underground after you open the coffin. You may wear it. Give it to the teens at The Bonfire.
a hacky sack. It's dropped at The Bonfire after you give the cape to the goth teens. Give it to the dog at The Caretaker's Place.

Honorable Mention:

a scapula. It's dropped at The Caretaker's Place when you give the hacky sack to the dog. Take the scapula to win the game.
