A Dino's Night Out is a Z-machine work of interactive fiction written with Inform 6 and is © 2000 by Aris Katsaris. It was a participant in the DinoComp event.
In this small game, you play as a one-foot-tall velociraptor pet, but you are dissatisfied. Is this really how your life should be? Tonight, while your "owner" Tim and his family sleep, you will explore the house until you resolve your doubts. Three possible destinies await.
This solution is by David Welbourn, and is based on Release 2 of the game.
SPOILERS AHEAD. Reading a walkthrough prematurely can sometimes diminish one's enjoyment of a work of interactive fiction. Please make an honest effort to play the game before reading this walkthrough.

This game is the first I ever complete - written in the last two days or so before the dino-comp deadline. Many thanks (and apologies) to David Dyte, creator of "A Bear's Night Out" whose permission I did *not* in any way ask before writing this game.
All three tapes are in the cupboard. You can only pick up one tape at a time, using your mouth. Play one of the tapes in the VCR in Tim's sister's bedroom.
Note that you will not pick up the brochure; you have no use for it.
