Carpathian Vampire

Carpathian Vampire is a Z-machine interactive fiction game written with Inform 7 and is © 2022 by Garry Francis. It was a participant in the Text Adventure Literacy Jam 2022.

In this horror game, you play as Franz, a vampire hunter, hired by Romanian villagers who believe a recently deceased count is now a strigoi who has been killing their children. You begin outside the former Count's castle.

This solution is by David Welbourn, and is based on Release 1 of the game.
