You play as a spy. As "Reginald Halvers", you will be attending a New Year's Eve party in apartment 2604 where you will exchange an envelope for a prototype microchip—assuming everything goes as planned, of course.
This solution is by David Welbourn, and is based on Release 1 of the game.
Don't waste too much time; the bombs will explode on schedule, whether you get out of the building in time or not. If you haven't escaped the building by turn 75, you're dead.

Endings
You have died if you haven't escaped the building by turn 75.
You have won if you escape the building with the pocketwatch.
Inventory
an identification papers. You're carrying them. Just hold on to them.
an envelope. You're carrying it. Give it to the Creeper; he'll give you the pocketwatch in exchange.
a pocketwatch. You get it from the Creeper when you give him the envelope. Hold on to it.
a cheese knife. It's at Living Room, North; find it by examining the hors d'oeuvres. You will use it automatically to pick the locks of the maintenance closet doors. You will also use it to cut the cord off the vacuum cleaner in the eastern closet.
a wrench. It's in the toolbox in the western maintenance room; find the toolbox by examining the junk there. See cord below on how you'll use the wrench.
an electrical cord. The cord is initially part of the vacuum cleaner in the eastern maintenance closet. Get the cord by cutting it with the knife. In the bathroom, tie the cord to both the wrench and the sink, then throw the cord at the balcony outside the window.
